Application Procedure

Applications can be submitted at the Schengen Visa Application Centre (V.A.C.)
after making a prior appointment. Appointments can be made online at
www.netherlandsvac-ua.com or by telephone to the Netherlands Visa
Call Centre in Kyiv. The website facility is available 24x7 while the
phone-in facility is available from 09:00 to 17:00 hours on working days.

All applications are to be submitted to the Schengen Visa Application Centre
for the Netherlands on working days at: Visa Application Centre, № 60 Frunze
str, Kyiv, Ukraine, except on holidays.

There will be a service charge of UAH 170. - (VAT inclusive) levied per
application over and above the visa fees.

All applicants should hand in all documents at the V.A.C. Documents may also be
submitted by a representative. No documents will be accepted per fax or e-mail.
Frequent Travellers are allowed to send their applications by
courier.

If you are not a
frequent traveller according to the Embassy of the Kingdom of the
Netherlands in Kyiv, you are required to attend an interview with the Embassy.
Please note that the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands may always
decide to invite frequent travellers for an interview after assessment of the
submitted documents.

If an interview in person with the Embassy is required, the V.A.C. will provide
you with an appointment at the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands online
or by phone.

In principle it takes approximately three days to process a visa application
with the exception of company's using the Orange Carpet Service, Moldovans (one
day service) and groups (one week service). In some cases however, for example
when the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Netherlands or other Embassies have
to be consulted, the application procedure may take up to two weeks. Please be
advised to schedule your appointment well in advance.

Processed passports or the updated status of a visa application of individuals
(not being Moldovans and not using the Orange Carpet Service) can be checked on
the second working day after submission of the documents at Netherlands V.A.C.

In case you would like your passport couriered to your specified address, you
can request for this service at the time of submitting your application. This
optional service is available for an additional fee of UAH 50,- (VAT
inclusive). The service charge and the courier fee is payable in cash at the
time of submitting your application.
